I am so glad that I, along with my daughter, came to the decision of visiting a career counsellor after her grade IX final exams. I knew of Ms. Pooja but had never interacted with her. I wrote t her about my keenness to understand the course of action for my daughter. We booked the appointment. It was an amazing experience to be there. Ms. Pooja was so calm and patient during the session. She guided us step by step through the entire process. I accept to being naïve when I first met her. After our two sessions, the mind was absolutely clear about the path ahead. She explained everything in such details that there was no scope of confusion left. Career counselling is one field which requires expertise and updated information. Only an expert in career counselling can well understand the needs of an individual. As career counselling is based on suitability and adaptibility. Each individual has its own identity, skills and abilities. Career counselling is a systematic process which only an expert in field can carry out. An expert in career counselling will understand individual personality, career interests and his aptitude. Unbiased advice is another important factor in career counsellor which again is understood by an expert only. An expert will determine individual values, identify his skills, will research on career options, will make you aware how to achieve it and live your dream successfully.
